Stan and I celebrated our 10th anniversary with 10 days in the Canadian Rockies of Alberta, Canada. We spent most of our time in the areas of Canmore, Banff, and Lake Louise. We made special excursions to Sunshine Meadows, Columbia Ice Fields, and Kootenay National Park. Many locals commented on how long the winter was lasting, and we saw snowfall three times during our visit. There were several wildfires in the area and you will notice the smoky haze in several of the photos. In one photo, the mountain is barely visible; looking like an illusion. Most of the photos were taken with the Nikon D7000 which I received as an anniversary gift prior to this trip. I barely had time to unpackage it before the trip, so I was not very adept with the camera at all before I started using it.

It was a great vacation and a great anniversary. I'm ready to go back any time!
